Our menu combines the flavors and ethos
of the Mediterranean with the local fabric of farm to table.


We are inspired by outsiders, revolutionists, simplicity, nature, craftsmanship, and “the love of it”. Our cafe unites past practices (naturally leavened bread) with a vision for the future (small, local, sustainable, and organic).

Lola is an amalgamation of many people we have known and want to become in our lives. Lola’s is named for an idea of a strong powerful female energy to make things happen. Founded in 2019 just five months before the world shut down this spirit of perseverance and the drive to create something beautiful for the community drove us on.

Lola’s is more than a restaurant. It is an attitude; one of collaboration, community, respect and celebration. Our team is our greatest asset. Together we can accomplish anything. 

We strive to excite, inspire, and transport our guests through a culinary experience and gracious hospitality. Our wine list is a tribute to old world vineyards, many led by women in stewardship of the land. We make our food from scratch, using produce that is local and organic whenever possible. We only cook with extra virgin olive oil and real butter. Our bakery makes pastries and our own sourdough bread daily with organic flour and local whole wheat and rye. Our espresso program is traditional Italian, using local milk and house-made syrups.

Sourdough is the heart of Lola's

All of Lola's breads, from the rosemary focaccia to our brioche pastry to our rustic boules start with a wild ferment levain. We use local rye and whole wheat flours to create the artisan bread and pastries that we serve at Lola's in Dundee.
