Our class format offers the perfect opportunity for a deeper dive, with a five bottle tasting guided by our in-house wine expert, and small bites to pair. Bring a friend or two, or come on your own and make some new ones!
Our final class of 2026, November’s theme is FUNK. At Lola’s, we love to bring you wines that are unexpected, surprising, and interesting. Our list is mostly organic, natural, and/or biodynamic, overlapping terms which are bandied about often but describe an approach to winemaking predicated on minimal intervention and a sense of responsibility to people and the planet. They also sometimes describe wine with a bit of “funk” — earthy, savory, smoky, wild, barnyard…you’ll know it when you taste it. Whether you like your wine full of sediment or you’re not totally sure what pet nat means, this class is for you.
Each pour will be paired with a small bite to bring out the best in the wine. Participants will enjoy exclusive pricing on any bottles they’d like to take home, and guests are invited to stay for dinner afterward with 10% off.
